Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Monitor security alerts and events across SIEM, EDR, cloud security, and SASE platforms.
• Perform initial investigation and triage of security incidents, assessing potential scope and impact.
• Document and escalate incidents to Tier 2/3 analysts and relevant internal teams.
• Use Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Identity, Wazuh, and SASE solutions for monitoring and response.
• Analyze logs, gather evidence, and maintain accurate investigation records.
• Contribute feedback to improve SOC processes, incident-handling procedures, and playbooks.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a SOC or similar security monitoring role.
• Foundational knowledge of security principles, common attack vectors, and incident response methods.
• Practical experience with one or more of Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Identity, Wazuh, or SASE solutions.
• Ability to analyze alerts, identify patterns, solve initial security problems, and communicate technical information clearly.
• Basic understanding of cloud security, operating system internals across Windows/Linux/macOS, and network fundamentals.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Nice to have

• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Microsoft SC-200 certification.
• Certified SOC Analyst certification from EC-Council.
