Senior Security Engineer (AI/Cloud)

What you will do

• Conduct security reviews of application code and AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud architectures.
• Integrate security controls, automated testing, and vulnerability management into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows.
• Partner with Application Engineering and Cloud Platform teams on secure design patterns throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support security reviews of AI/ML systems, pipelines, managed AI services, and inference endpoints.
• Lead investigation, mitigation, and recovery efforts for security incidents affecting cloud and AI/ML environments.
• Track emerging cybersecurity and AI security threats and improve security controls accordingly.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional cybersecurity experience, with a strong background in application security and/or cloud security.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematics, or a related field, or relevant cybersecurity certifications in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with AppSec, SSDLC, CI/CD security, code reviews, DevSecOps, vulnerability management, and secure coding practices.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, networking fundamentals, OSI, security protocols, firewalls, operating systems, IAM, encryption, virtual machines, and containers.
• Experience with incident investigation and response, API security testing, Python or PowerShell, and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AI/ML security, LLM security, adversarial attacks, data poisoning, model inversion, inference endpoint security, or managed AI services such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and GCP Vertex AI.
• Familiarity with the OWASP LLM Top 10.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CCSP, or OSCP.
• Additional language skills.
