Senior Cyber Security Officer (Cloud Security)

Location: Hybrid, based in Porto or Lisbon 2–3 times per week; candidates must be based in Portugal and have Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

What you will do

• Design and support security architecture for large-scale cloud-native environments.
• Apply architectural principles across microservices, APIs, container orchestration, and zero-trust networks.
• Manage enterprise security tooling, including vulnerability management, SIEM, DLP, CSPM, CSA, SAST, and DAST.
• Translate financial-services regulations and security frameworks into practical architecture decisions.
• Support risk and security management using ISO/IEC 27000, ISO 27005, ISO 31000, and NIST CSF.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Security Architect.
• Mandatory CISSP certification.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Expertise in ISO/IEC 27000 series, ISO 27005, ISO 31000, and working familiarity with NIST CSF.
• Understanding of PSD2, GDPR, and PCI DSS requirements in financial services.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher; availability for hybrid work in Porto or Lisbon; Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit required.

• CISA, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Specialty, or GCP Security Specialty certifications.
