Field Service Technician (Appliance Repair) - Baltimore, MD

Location: Baltimore, Maryland metro area, including Baltimore, Ellicott City, and Towson; field service at customer locations

Salary: $26.50–$31.25 USD per hour

What you will do

• Travel to customer locations to maintain and repair electronics, home appliances, TVs, and A/C units.
• Diagnose product and system issues, assess damage, replace parts, and complete repairs.
• Use company-provided safety equipment, vehicles, diagnostic tools, and other service equipment.
• Manage parts and inventory while completing daily administrative work and data entry.
• Pre-screen upcoming service calls and collect information to support diagnosis before arrival.
• Meet customer satisfaction, first-time-fix, revisit, parts-management, and overtime metrics.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a technical role, preferably appliance repair.
• Experience repairing major appliances, including refrigeration and sealed systems, cooking products, and cleaning products.
• Experience using tools and diagnostic test equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product or system issues.
• Valid driver's license in good standing and ability to obtain appropriate EPA certification.
• Ability to meet field-service physical requirements, including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
