Head of Accounting Operations (Fintech)

What you will do

• Oversee Revenue, Expense, General Ledger, and Bank Accounting operations for the parent company and subsidiaries.
• Lead the preparation, review, and consolidation of financial statements under PFRS/IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Establish and improve accounting policies, internal controls, governance frameworks, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure compliance with BSP, BIR, and SEC requirements and manage internal and external audit observations.
• Provide financial analysis and variance reporting, and support M&A, investments, and other corporate initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license is preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and operations.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role managing multiple accounting functions and teams.
• Strong knowledge of PFRS/IFRS, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience with process improvement, internal controls, governance frameworks, audits, and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
