Senior Accountant – NetSuite, Multi-Entity Accounting & Month-End Close | Remote

Location: Philippines; remote during U.S. business hours

hirify.global is sourcing a Senior Accountant for one of its clients.

What you will do

• Manage daily general ledger operations, journal entries, financial records, and multi-entity accounting.
• Own month-end and year-end close processes and prepare balance sheets, income statements, and entity-level P&Ls.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and maintain audit-ready records.
• Track project-level expenses, property-level P&Ls, intercompany information, and new entity setups.
• Prepare audit, tax filing, cost segregation, and quarterly review documentation in coordination with external partners.
• Provide accurate financial reporting and explanations to senior finance and asset management leadership.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on NetSuite experience with daily workflows, imports, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
• Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and month-end and year-end close.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including work with large datasets.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and exceptional attention to financial accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal English communication and availability during U.S. business hours are required.

Nice to have

• Multi-entity accounting experience.
• Real estate, development, investment, or property accounting experience.
• Experience with AppFolio or similar property management platforms.
• Experience working with external accounting firms, auditors, or tax professionals.
• Project-level or property-level financial reporting experience.
