TL;DR
Sr. Lead Product Manager (Derivatives/CECL): Defining and leading Clearwater's derivatives product roadmap, including valuation, hedge accounting, collateral management, reporting, and support for CECL product development with an accent on complex financial workflows and regulatory requirements. Focus on translating client and market needs into development-ready requirements, coordinating cross-functional delivery, and applying derivatives and credit-risk expertise to product strategy.

What you will do

  • Define and lead the derivatives product strategy and high-level roadmap across valuation, sensitivity analysis, collateral and margin workflows, hedge accounting, and reporting.
  • Own the product lifecycle from market problem definition and user personas through workflow documentation, business requirements, and delivery.
  • Support CECL product development with expertise in credit risk modeling, expected loss methodologies, and derivatives exposure.
  • Create detailed requirements and manage JIRA stories throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Partner with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Services, and Marketing to prioritize opportunities and communicate roadmap direction.
  • Measure feature adoption, gather client feedback, lead product training, and mentor junior product team members.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience in solutions or product leadership within financial services or financial technology, focused on derivatives.
  • Experience delivering complex end-to-end derivatives workflows, including valuation, collateral, margin, and hedge accounting.
  • Working knowledge of CECL methodology and credit loss estimation, or the ability to quickly develop this expertise.
  • Deep knowledge of derivatives regulations and industry standards, including ILPA, NAIC, BMA, Solvency, Dodd-Frank, and EMIR.
  • Strong communication, data analysis, organization, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience mentoring or managing team members is preferred.
