Pharmacy Technician - Care Team

Location: Dallas office in Irving, Texas; onsite five days a week

Salary: $21.50–$22.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support members, providers, and pharmacies through phone, chat, email, and written correspondence.
• Resolve questions about mail order, benefit design, formulary coverage, medication costs, prior authorization, and claims adjudication.
• Help network pharmacies process prescription claims and review claims against benefit and contract standards.
• Support clinical pharmacists with patient and provider outreach, appointment scheduling, clinical program enrollment, and medication adherence follow-up.
• Document interactions and resolutions for continuity of care, quality assurance, compliance, and operational reporting.
• Own issues through final resolution, coordinate with internal teams, and use AI-enabled tools and knowledge systems to improve response efficiency.

Requirements

• Active/current National Pharmacy Technician Certification through PTCB or NHA.
• 1–3 years of pharmacy technician experience in a health plan, retail pharmacy, TPA, PBM contact center, mail order pharmacy, or specialty pharmacy.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication, benefit design, and PBM terminology.
• Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, multitask across phone, chat, and email queues, and manage an independent workload.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to work onsite in the Dallas/Irving office five days per week.
