Senior Project Manager (AI)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid work with office attendance an average of four days a week.

What you will do

• Manage complex software development projects across logistics, supply chain, and client technical environments.
• Plan and report on project delivery, maintain RAID logs, escalate issues, and define mitigation options for technical risks.
• Coordinate technical specialists, third-party vendors, client resources, and stakeholder communications, including technical meetings.
• Plan and manage the build of new infrastructure environments and coordinate technical solutions across cloud and on-premise systems.
• Oversee pre-production and production releases, dependencies between client systems, technical governance, and release pipelines.
• Run Agile, Incremental, and Waterfall projects while improving delivery processes and benchmarking AI adoption in the SDLC.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in software development project management, ideally with supply chain and logistics experience in retail.
• Experience with cloud technology, backend systems, React and Node, cloud and on-premise infrastructure, Google Cloud Platform, and legacy AWS applications.
• Basic Terraform knowledge sufficient to engage with technical teams, plus familiarity with log files, legacy system integration, and technical investigation.
• Experience with project lifecycles, Agile, Incremental, and Waterfall methodologies, code management tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or SVN, and release pipeline tools such as GitHub.
• Experience managing third parties, customer expectations, deadlines, technical risks, and sensitive stakeholder issues.
• Relevant project management qualifications, strong organizational and communication skills, and excellent written and verbal English.

• Developer background or programming qualification.
• BA/BS degree in information management, marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
