Quality Assurance, Risk Control & Special Investigations Analyst (Life Insurance)

Location: Remote within the United States or hybrid in the Dallas, Texas office

What you will do

• Audit inbound and outbound call center interactions and completed service and administrative forms for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to TPA procedures.
• Provide objective feedback and coaching to call center agents and team leads.
• Track and report QA and TPA metrics, identify root causes of errors, and highlight compliance gaps.
• Review internal fraud referrals involving claims, policy changes, and applications; gather evidence and prepare case files for the carrier’s Special Investigations Unit.
• Monitor operational and financial controls, report deficiencies and emerging risks, and maintain confidential investigation records.
• Partner with Operations and Training teams on process improvements, control enhancements, documentation, and compliance training.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in QA, compliance, fraud analysis, or operations within life insurance, financial services, or the TPA industry.
• Strong knowledge of the life insurance policy lifecycle, administrative forms, and TPA operating procedures.
• Ability to analyze complex transaction histories, identify unusual patterns, and assess risk and potential fraud.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver constructive feedback and summarize findings for executive review.
• Must be eligible for employment in the United States; hirify.global uses E-Verify for newly hired employees.

Nice to have

• Experience with call recording or formal QA monitoring software.
• Familiarity with state and federal life insurance regulations, including anti-money laundering and privacy requirements.
• Experience with SOX or SOC internal control audits and creating QA checklists.
