Perinatal Nurse - Daytime (9a-6p EST)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; daytime schedule from 9a–6p EST, with occasional travel and weekend or holiday work.

Salary: $78,000–$83,000 annual base salary, plus equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Conduct ongoing clinical and psychosocial assessments for new and existing patients, build rapport, and provide reassurance.
• Create individualized, evidence-based care plans and wellness goals based on patients’ health needs and motivations.
• Identify barriers to care, reduce care gaps, support medication management, and engage patients frequently.
• Educate patients about equipment used for remote health monitoring and assess their ongoing needs.
• Monitor diagnostic results, respond to abnormalities, assess urgent concerns, and triage patients appropriately.
• Document care interactions, escalate cases to multidisciplinary teams, and provide user feedback for program and product development.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with at least a BSN, residing in a compact state and holding a current, active, unencumbered compact RN license with multistate privileges.
• At least 4 years of recent hospital or healthcare-practice experience with maternal-child health populations, including a minimum of 3 years in labor and delivery.
• Ability to work remotely using video, phone, and text with a reliable internet connection.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays and travel occasionally.
• Understanding of birth inequity and structural racism in maternal morbidity and mortality.
• Flexible, agile, professionally engaged, and comfortable working across disciplines.

Nice to have

• Experience caring for perinatal patients with pregnancy-related diabetes, hypertension, perinatal loss, or similar conditions.
• Experience providing virtual care.
• Fluency in Spanish without using an interpreter.
