Behavioral Health Group provides opioid addiction treatment and substance use disorder services through a network of Joint Commission-accredited treatment centers.

What you will do

• Conduct individual alcohol and drug abuse counseling, group sessions, intake, and readmission services.
• Assess patients’ social, educational, economic, and vocational needs.
• Develop and revise treatment plans and maintain comprehensive patient records.
• Provide supportive follow-up counseling, crisis intervention, referrals, and care coordination with community providers.
• Orient patients to treatment procedures and support their transition to a drug-free life.
• Follow regulatory and accrediting standards, participate in training, and support program implementation.

Requirements

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field, according to state requirements.
• Current counseling credentials, certification, or licensure applicable to the state.
• Knowledge of human behavior, substance abuse populations, treatment planning, and human social services.
• Ability to make sound decisions, handle confidential and sensitive matters, and respond effectively in stressful situations.
• Compliance with federal and state requirements for certification, licensure, and education.

Nice to have

• Experience in behavioral health.
• Basic understanding of addiction.
