Product Line Lead (Supply Chain)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY; occasional travel to suppliers or other hirify.global sites, approximately 10%.

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop Supply Specialists and Senior Supply Specialists.
• Coordinate procurement activities between Supply Chain Procurement, Operations, suppliers, and internal customers.
• Oversee purchase order placement, delivery performance, expedites, delays, non-conformances, and past-due orders.
• Update part-specific procurement strategies and DDMRP parameters, including buffers, minimum order quantities, and safety stock.
• Plan capacity and manage workloads across the supply team.
• Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives and ensure purchase order compliance with FAR, DFAR, and other US Government requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related business or technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Engineering, including at least 2 years of leadership experience or demonstrated cross-functional influence.
• Experience with US Government contractual and regulatory requirements, including FAR/DFAR, REACH, AEO, ITAR, EAR, and import/export regulations.
• Deep knowledge of MBS modules and transactions for planning, purchase order placement, maintenance, and inventory.
• Strong escalation management, analytical problem-solving, communication, and continuous improvement skills, including 5Y, A3, or 8D methods.
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information.
