Staff Frontend Engineer (React/React Native)

Location: Remote from Poland, Romania, or Spain

What you will do

• Set frontend architecture direction across React, React Native, and the shared Nx and pnpm monorepo.
• Own cross-team platform capabilities, shared libraries, design-system foundations, tooling, and developer experience.
• Lead decisions on application boundaries, abstractions, state and data flow, performance, testing, and migration strategy.
• Diagnose systemic rendering, bundle, runtime, and release-quality problems and implement durable fixes.
• Stay hands-on through implementation, prototyping, and technical investigation when needed.
• Partner with product, backend engineering, and QA while mentoring senior engineers and improving review quality.

Requirements

• Demonstrated architectural or platform impact across multiple frontend teams.
• Deep ownership of complex production systems built with React or React Native and TypeScript.
• Strong judgment in application boundaries, shared libraries, state management, performance, and migration design.
• Experience improving developer effectiveness, reliability, or product quality through durable mechanisms.
• Practical experience diagnosing performance and correctness issues across web or mobile systems.
• Clear communication and the ability to influence technical direction through evidence and trusted execution.
