Senior Software Engineer (Salesforce)

Location: Dallas, TX, United States; hybrid work arrangements are available. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, document, and implement reusable Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds.
• Build and maintain custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, Visualforce, flows, triggers, batch classes, and scheduled classes.
• Develop inbound and outbound integrations using Salesforce APIs, integration patterns, REST/SOAP services, and middleware such as MuleSoft.
• Promote changes through higher environments and production using Copado, Git, pull request reviews, branch management, and merge conflict resolution.
• Troubleshoot applications and data issues, improve performance, implement logging and diagnostics, and maintain security and access controls.
• Participate in Agile product teams, architecture reviews, code reviews, mentoring, and Salesforce governance and best-practice initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
• Salesforce Certified Admin, Advanced Admin, Platform Developer I, and Platform Developer II certifications are required.
• 5–8 years of Salesforce developer and administrator experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Advanced knowledge of Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components, Aura, data modeling, flows, record sharing, security, access management, and Salesforce APIs.
• Advanced Git and source control experience, plus intermediate Salesforce CI/CD experience with Copado or a similar tool.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, prioritization, troubleshooting, and stakeholder-management skills; Scrum and Agile experience is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with the SAFe Agile framework.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office and Salesforce design and development best practices.
