CW - Manufacturing Technician - (T2) (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite cleanroom work

Salary: $20.00–$27.50 per hour

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electromechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and written instructions to complete equipment operations.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, process improvements, and parts audits for defects and availability.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies.
• Complete job documentation and data entry, and perform programming, software installation, or computer repairs when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of semiconductor, display, comparable industry, or military experience.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including extended standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and working in tight spaces.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate heavy machinery such as forklifts; cleanroom PPE may be required.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree, technical education, certifications, or relevant training.
• ASSEET or BSEET qualification, including DeVry or TSTC training.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Willingness to expand technical and operational skills.
