Database Developer (PostgreSQL)

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; hybrid work. Remote work is possible only when located in the Czech Republic.

What you will do

• Develop and support database structures and objects, including queries and stored procedures.
• Optimize existing database structures and code using PostgreSQL and MS SQL.
• Modernize and create reports, widgets, and dashboards for hirify.global reporting products.
• Migrate and rework existing business logic for a modern architecture and adapt it for a new product.
• Collaborate closely with analysts and QA teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with commercial products.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and strong knowledge of database theory.
• Ability to write complex SQL scripts, functions, and stored procedures.
• Experience reading, understanding, and maintaining existing code.
• Flexibility, willingness to learn, ownership, reliability, attention to detail, and disciplined delivery.
• Applicants must be located in the Czech Republic for remote work; applications from applicants permanently outside the Czech Republic may not be considered.
