Lead, Financial Reporting (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close for the Saudi Arabia entity, targeting completion by D+3.
• Prepare IFRS financial statements with SOCPA adjustments, supporting schedules, reconciliations, and documented accounting positions.
• Prepare and reconcile ZATCA tax filings and SAMA regulatory and prudential returns.
• Maintain balance-sheet reconciliations, general-ledger integrity, internal controls, and segregation of duties.
• Support IFRS 9 provisioning and expected credit loss calculations, treasury and settlement reporting, intercompany reporting, and external audits.
• Improve finance processes, reporting automation, and ERP data integrity while partnering with Compliance, Legal, Product, and Operations on new product launches.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in financial reporting, statutory reporting, or external audit, preferably in fintech, banking, or a Big Four environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 9, IFRS 15, and IFRS 16, plus SOCPA or local GAAP.
• Working knowledge of Saudi tax regulations, including Zakat, Corporate Income Tax, VAT, and Withholding Tax.
• Experience with IFRS financial statements, month-end close, statutory audits, and regulatory submissions to ZATCA and SAMA.
• Advanced Excel skills; Oracle NetSuite or another ERP experience is preferred.
• Fluent English and Arabic, written and verbal, required.

Nice to have

• CPA, ACCA, or SOCPA qualification, completed or in progress.
• Oracle NetSuite experience.
