Senior Manager - Credit (Fintech)

What you will do

• Develop and implement credit risk policies, strategies, procedures, and controls.
• Assess applicant creditworthiness using scoring models, credit reports, financial analysis, and underwriting methods.
• Monitor credit exposure, delinquency rates, portfolio performance, and credit losses.
• Develop fraud prevention strategies, monitor transactions and customer behavior, and investigate suspicious activity.
• Use data analytics, dashboards, and reporting to support risk decisions and communicate trends to senior management.
• Collaborate with compliance, product, engineering, and customer service teams to integrate risk controls into products and customer interactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in credit risk management and fraud prevention, preferably in fintech.
• Strong understanding of credit scoring models, underwriting processes, and fraud detection methods.
• Proficiency in data analysis and risk modeling.
• Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management software.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or relevant certifications such as FRM or CFE.
