Finance Operations Associate / Accountant

hirify.global is a fast-growing B2C marketplace based in Riyadh that connects buyers and sellers of used electronics and used cars across Saudi Arabia.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day bookkeeping and ledger accuracy in Odoo, including transaction coding, classification, account mapping, and cost-center allocation.
• Perform monthly balance-sheet and bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, supporting schedules, and audit documentation.
• Analyze financial data to identify anomalies, trends, and control gaps.
• Coordinate with external auditors and collaborate with Commercial, Operations, Procurement, banks, and vendors on financial queries.
• Improve Odoo-based accounting workflows, strengthen controls, and support reporting, ad hoc analysis, and process documentation.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or audit.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo or a similar ERP and an understanding of the accounting logic behind ERP workflows.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including IFRS, and practical month-end close experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Ability to support compliance with internal policies and relevant local regulatory and tax requirements, including ZATCA and VAT.

Nice to have

• Audit or assurance experience at a Big Four or mid-tier firm.
