Lead Engineer - UK

Location: UK-Cardiff

Salary: £61,388–£79,619 per year, depending on geographic market, knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional compensation may include annual bonuses or incentives, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a dedicated customer account base.
• Provide hands-on support for large and complex issues involving critical hosted websites.
• Review solution architecture, propose improvements, and implement new solutions and technologies.
• Coordinate routine and non-routine services, maintenance schedules, support teams, tasks, and customer projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and participate in monthly and quarterly service reviews.
• Identify customer growth opportunities and mentor other technical staff.

Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge of enterprise applications in one or more modules or systems.
• Expert-level understanding of system capabilities and configuration options for enterprise applications.
• Expert-level knowledge of business processes and operations.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems in web hosting environments.
• Strong communication, creative problem-solving, and commercial and business acumen.
