Summer 2027 Hydraulic Modeling Intern

Location: Holden, Massachusetts, United States; work in the Holden office

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct CFD and physical model studies for sediment transport, pump station hydraulics, water supply and treatment facilities, spillways, and other civil hydraulic structures.
• Perform testing with physical models and 1:1 component test loops.
• Collect flow velocity, turbidity, suspended sediment concentration, pressure, and temperature data.
• Perform engineering calculations, design model components, operate and test models, and conduct data acquisition and analysis.

Requirements

• Coursework in Civil, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Relevant college research or project experience.
• Interest in hands-on engineering work.
• Ability to work in the Holden, Massachusetts office.

Nice to have

• Basic construction and machining skills.
• Previous internship or co-op experience.
