Senior Specialist, People Operations

Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia; flexible work arrangements include work from home, flexible start and finish times, and flex time.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, internal movements, organisational changes, leave management, and offboarding.
• Process employee changes in Workday and provide operational guidance on People policies, procedures, and employment matters.
• Deliver People Operations services, handle complex escalations, and monitor service levels.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity, conduct audits and quality assurance checks, and produce workforce reports and analytics.
• Support HRIS testing, upgrades, enhancements, implementations, and data governance requirements.
• Lead process improvement, automation, digitisation, compliance, risk mitigation, and operational change initiatives.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in HR Operations, People Services, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Experience managing complex employee lifecycle processes and understanding HR governance requirements.
• Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or BambooHR.
• Proficient analytical and reporting skills.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience driving process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

• Experience in a large, complex, or regulated environment.
• Experience with shared services or service delivery models.
• Project management or continuous improvement experience.
• Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
