Associate Team Leader (Data & Analytics)

Location: Toronto office with hybrid work; at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients. Employment requires authorization to work in Canada and the United States.

What you will do

• Manage quantitative consulting projects and oversee project delivery.
• Develop hypotheses, manage data collection, create models, and conduct advanced analyses.
• Conduct primary and secondary research and address limitations in available information.
• Surface insights and provide technical and senior-level guidance with support from Partners and the internal network.
• Work with clients to deliver high-quality project outputs.
• Coach consulting and client team members while supporting a sustainable team workload.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Informatics, Data Science, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in a specialized consulting firm, top-tier bank, or financial institution.
• Experience with advanced analytics and data manipulation software such as R, Python, SAS, SQL, or SPSS.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision, manage demanding workloads, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent command of English and authorization to work legally in both Canada and the United States are required.
