Accounts Officer - Treasury (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable and payment cycle across hirify.global entities, including invoice review, approvals, payment initiation, and completion tracking.
• Prepare weekly payment requirements, monitor AP ageing and due dates, and support cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Coordinate international payments, review FX rates and payment options, and track intercompany transactions and funding movements.
• Maintain documentation, approval controls, segregation of duties, reconciliations, and visibility over financial obligations.
• Investigate discrepancies, resolve disputed balances, flag cash or funding issues, and support finance analysis, reporting, budgets, and ad hoc initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, visibility, controls, and automation as the organisation scales.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in Accounts Payable, treasury, accounting, or finance operations, ideally in a multi-entity or international organisation.
• Good understanding of invoice validation, approval workflows, payment processing, vendor reconciliation, financial controls, and payment authorisation.
• Strong numerical, analytical, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills; experience with accounting or ERP systems is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to work on-site in Sharjah, UAE.

• Exposure to cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, international payments, FX, and intercompany transactions.
