Lead Product Manager, Payments

Location: London office or distributed working within the UK, with ad hoc meetings in London. Relocation support to the UK is available.

Salary: £125,000–£145,000 per year plus share options.

What you will do

• Define the product strategy and roadmap for Finance Infrastructure within Payments Platform.
• Partner with Engineering, Finance, Payments, Product, and Operations leaders to shape financial systems for current and future scale.
• Translate complex finance, accounting, operational, and regulatory needs into scalable platform capabilities.
• Prioritise competing stakeholder needs while balancing urgent delivery with long-term system health.
• Build infrastructure supporting multiple products, entities, countries, currencies, and regulatory environments.
• Introduce stronger product discipline and strategic planning to move the team beyond reactive delivery.

Requirements

• Senior Product Management experience owning complex technical, platform, infrastructure, or financial systems.
• Technical depth to partner credibly with engineers and reason about systems, trade-offs, dependencies, and architecture.
• Interest in financial infrastructure such as ledgers, reconciliation, financial data, controls, reporting, internal platforms, abstractions, or backend systems.
• Experience working with senior and cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Engineering, Product, and Operations.
• Ability to bring product thinking to ambiguous, stakeholder-heavy environments and develop long-term strategy.
• Ability to work within the UK and attend occasional meetings in London.

Hiring process

• Third stage: Product full loop; the process is expected to take around 2–3 weeks.
