HVAC Apprentice Technician

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin; field-based work conducted on-site at customer locations

Salary: $15.07–$45.21 per hour

What you will do

• Assist experienced service technicians with the installation, servicing, diagnosis, and repair of HVAC and environmental control equipment.
• Inspect equipment, identify issues, plan repairs, and support customer satisfaction at customer locations.
• Coordinate with supervising field technicians, project managers, and customers on installation requirements, materials, potential issues, and on-site work.
• Use software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
• Follow strict safety standards and maintain accountability for company-issued and procured assets.

Requirements

• No industry experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old on the start date.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations during the last three years.
• Strong desire to learn the HVAC trade and contribute to sustainable climate solutions.

Nice to have

• Technical school certificates or formal HVAC training and experience may be considered when determining program proficiency and starting compensation.
