What you will do
- Lead the shift from manual, reactive testing to a strategic, automation-first model.
- Architect CI/CD-integrated automation to reduce flakiness and improve build-health signals.
- Establish technical governance and testing standards across authentication, file systems, SDKs, and backend infrastructure.
- Mentor and coach QA and automation engineers embedded across distributed teams.
- Define and implement a roadmap for AI-agent-supported testing over the next 3–5 years.
- Introduce quality metrics to drive prioritization and release decisions org-wide.
Requirements
- Proven experience in defining and executing platform-wide QA automation strategies.
- Deep technical understanding of distributed systems, file systems, networking, and backend infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience building and piloting automation frameworks.
- Ability to influence engineering practices and culture without direct authority.
- Experience working in distributed environments and mentoring technical teams.
- Must be able to work from the Sofia office in a hybrid capacity.
