Automation Engineer (AI)

Location: Cambridge, MA; in-person role

Salary: $90,000–$145,000 annually plus equity

What you will do

• Own and expand automated testing frameworks for AI-generated code and applications.
• Build integration, end-to-end, and intelligent test suites for production environments.
• Validate runtime behavior, performance, reliability, and functionality across multiple languages and frameworks.
• Develop quality metrics, runtime monitoring, and systems that detect issues in deployed applications.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality validation.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to identify and resolve platform-level quality issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Playwright and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong Python expertise.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and with Git.
• Experience testing distributed systems and applying modern software development practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms; GCP is preferred.
• Ability to work in person in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Nice to have

• Runtime monitoring and testing experience for distributed systems.
• Knowledge of performance testing and application performance monitoring.
• Experience testing complex enterprise-grade applications.
• Understanding of distributed tracing and monitoring.
• Experience with chaos engineering and resilience testing.
