Senior AP Analyst (AI/Automation)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end accounts payable automation projects from business case development through deployment and post-implementation optimization.
• Process vendor invoices accurately and on time, resolve discrepancies, answer AP-related queries, and execute scheduled payments.
• Perform month-end closing activities, including AP reconciliations, aging analysis, suspense-account clearing, and journal posting.
• Partner with procurement and finance teams to clear AP balances and analyze actual spending against historical and forecasted amounts.
• Support local tax and statutory audits, prepare reporting schedules, and resolve auditor-identified issues.
• Provide coaching and training on AP processes and automation tools while ensuring adherence to company policies and SOX controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• More than 10 years of end-to-end accounts payable experience, preferably in a large multinational organization.
• Experience leading or implementing AP automation and digital transformation projects.
• Hands-on experience with RPA tools, AI/OCR solutions, or workflow automation platforms.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, OpenText, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Fluent English communication, reading, and writing skills required; willingness to support extended hours during month-end close.
