Director, Finance Business Partner, Italy (Biotech)

What you will do

• Act as the strategic finance partner to General Managers and Leadership Teams across Italy and Iberia.
• Lead annual planning, forecasting, and long-range financial outlooks for both affiliates.
• Evaluate commercial opportunities, market access scenarios, and strategic investments.
• Develop scenario planning and financial assessments to support future portfolio evolution.
• Translate financial data into business intelligence, trends, risk insights, and executive recommendations.
• Oversee statutory reporting, transparency reporting, gross-to-net management, tax, VAT, audits, controls, compliance, and process improvement.

Requirements

• Significant finance experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or broader life sciences industry.
• Proven experience partnering strategically with senior business leaders.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and business analysis.
• Experience supporting commercial organizations, portfolio planning, and investment decisions.
• Excellent business acumen, communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA, CPA, or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
• Fluency in English and Italian is required.
