Senior QA Automation Engineer (TypeScript / Playwright)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests with TypeScript and Playwright.
• Perform end-to-end UI and API testing, alongside manual and exploratory testing.
• Build regression coverage for a complex risk management application during its Java-based refactoring.
• Define test scenarios, identify edge cases and regression risks, and investigate complex defects through root cause analysis.
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, bug reports, and other QA documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, QA specialists, and the QA Lead while improving automation coverage and testing practices.

Requirements

• Commercial experience as a Senior QA or QA Automation Engineer.
• Strong TypeScript and Playwright experience for automated UI and API testing.
• Experience with Page Object Model and test fixture patterns.
• Practical Azure DevOps experience, including pipelines, work items, test plans, and Git repositories.
• Strong manual, exploratory, analytical, and regression-testing skills, with knowledge of STLC and QA methodologies.
• Good command of English; Polish at B2 level or higher is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience configuring YAML-based CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• REST API testing and request/response validation experience.
• Performance testing with k6 or JMeter.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
