Senior Quality Engineer - Tellent Intelligence (AI)

Location: Remote or hybrid across Amsterdam, the Cologne area, or Poland

Salary: €63,000–€75,000 per year for the Netherlands; ranges may vary by employment location.

hirify.global provides a talent management suite combining applicant tracking, HRIS, and performance management products for HR and People teams.

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve the test automation strategy for hirify.global Intelligence AI-powered features.
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test suites across frontend, backend, API, and AI functionality.
• Expand end-to-end test coverage using Playwright and collaborate with developers, AI engineers, and Quality Engineers.
• Validate AI-generated outputs for quality, relevance, consistency, reliability, and safety.
• Create evaluation datasets and quality benchmarks for non-deterministic systems, identifying hallucinations, bias, regressions, and prompt-related issues.
• Validate prompt changes, AI agent behaviour, and safety guardrails while establishing AI quality metrics and testing best practices.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on quality engineering experience with senior-level ownership of testing for complex web applications.
• Experience building and maintaining end-to-end test suites in Playwright.
• Experience testing APIs and backend services.
• Strong product and technical thinking, analytical skills, and collaborative communication.
• Fluent English required for daily collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience testing AI-powered applications, LLM-based products, conversational AI, or machine learning systems.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI agents, hallucinations, model bias, evaluation datasets, and AI safety principles.
• Polish language skills.
