TL;DR
QA Engineer (Playwright/TypeScript/AI): Building end-to-end quality assurance and automated testing for web platforms and supporting microservices with an accent on zero-regression releases, API contract coverage, and multi-service integration verification. Focus on integrating AI coding assistants into test generation, shifting quality checks left through Figma and PR reviews, and isolating defects across Nuxt, GraphQL, Laravel, and cloud infrastructure.

What you will do
- Build, maintain, and execute parallelized end-to-end smoke and regression tests with Playwright and TypeScript in GitLab CI.
- Establish automated API schema and contract testing for GraphQL and REST/JSON:API services.
- Integrate Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini into test generation, mock-data creation, and log triage.
- Shift quality left by auditing Figma specifications, UX flows, API contracts, and pull requests.
- Monitor Sentry, GCP Cloud Run, and network logs to isolate issues across Nuxt, GraphQL, Laravel, and MySQL.
- Verify asynchronous messaging workflows and perform component and visual regression testing with Vitest and Storybook.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional web QA or test automation experience, including 1+ year using AI coding tools.
- Strong experience with Playwright or Cypress/Selenium using TypeScript or JavaScript for end-to-end, visual regression, and cross-browser testing.
- Practical experience testing GraphQL and REST/JSON:API endpoints with Bruno, Postman, or scripted collections.
- Experience with Nuxt/Vue DOM inspection, Figma specifications and design tokens, Browser DevTools, network profiling, and Git/GitLab CI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Clear written and spoken English is required for remote collaboration.
Nice to have
- TypeScript, Vue 3, and Nuxt knowledge for Vitest and Storybook component testing.
- Experience testing Twilio webhooks, SMS/RCS workflows, or generative AI/LLM outputs.
- Exposure to Docker, GCP Cloud Run, GCP Cloud Build, and Unleash feature flags.
- Ability to debug PHP/Laravel and Bun/Node runtimes.
- Experience with consumer SaaS, EdTech, conversion funnels, or subscription and Stripe billing flows.
