TL;DR
Software Development Engineer in Test (Java/JavaScript): Designing and maintaining automated UI and API testing solutions for financial services software across the SDLC with an accent on functional, integration, regression, and performance coverage. Focus on improving automation frameworks, integrating CI/CD workflows, and validating distributed systems using cloud and container technologies.
Location: Poland; remote and hybrid work options are available. Occasional overlap with the client's later working hours may be required, with meetings possible until 8:00 PM Poland time.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI and API layers.
- Execute, analyze, and maintain automated test runs.
- Build coverage for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Improve automation frameworks, QA practices, and testing standards.
- Work independently on automation streams and standalone tasks.
- Collaborate with Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in QA automation.
- At least 5 years of overall IT experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of QA, including manual QA artifacts.
- Strong programming experience; readiness to work with JavaScript immediately and with Java is required.
- Experience with UI automation using WebDriverIO or Selenium and API automation using Unirest or RestAssured.
- Understanding of CI/CD and English at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher.
