Project Manager (Network Infrastructure): Shaping complex customer bids and major tender opportunities by developing credible delivery plans for WAN, LAN, wireless, and telephony solutions with an accent on project governance, commercial awareness, and customer engagement. Focus on translating complex solutions into customer outcomes, presenting delivery approaches, and managing risks, dependencies, resources, and critical paths.
Location: United Kingdom — Bristol, Birmingham, London, or Manchester.

What you will do
- Lead the project management contribution to bids, tenders, and sales opportunities.
- Develop delivery plans covering risks, dependencies, governance requirements, milestones, and critical paths.
- Work with bid, technical, commercial, delivery, and customer teams to translate complex solutions into clear business outcomes.
- Create persuasive bid content and customer value propositions.
- Present delivery approaches through customer meetings, workshops, presentations, and panel discussions.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and support governance aligned with recognised project management methodologies.
Requirements
- Experience in pre-sales project management for bids, tenders, and customer opportunities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, influencing, and customer presentation skills.
- Capability in project delivery planning, including governance, dependencies, risks, and critical paths.
- Knowledge of recognised project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, APM, Agile, or similar frameworks.
- SC Clearance will be required for this role.
Nice to have
- Experience with network infrastructure projects involving WAN, LAN, wireless, telephony, or related technologies.
- Knowledge of BT products, services, or delivery environments.
- Commercial awareness of bid economics, resource planning, and contractual delivery considerations.
- Experience writing bid responses and working in large-scale customer delivery or transformation programmes.
