Business Manager to Managing Director - Internal Corporate Units (Digital Transformation)

Location: Hybrid, with three days a week in BT's London offices and two days remote within the United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Act as a trusted advisor and partner to the Managing Director, helping drive strategic priorities and business objectives.
• Oversee operational performance, governance, actions and leadership team activity.
• Coordinate stakeholders, dependencies and outcomes across Corporate Units Digital, hirify.global and external partners.
• Translate complex business, operational and technical challenges into recommendations and actionable solutions.
• Prepare executive briefings, presentations, reports and communications for different audiences.
• Support leadership meetings, quarterly reviews, business planning and strategic initiatives while identifying improvements to colleague experience and organisational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Experience managing and influencing senior, director-level or executive-level stakeholders in a large, complex organisation.
• Experience leading or significantly contributing to end-to-end technology, digital or business transformation initiatives.
• Experience coordinating stakeholders, managing dependencies and driving delivery outcomes.
• Ability to translate complex business, operational or technical challenges into clear executive communications, recommendations and actions.
• Ability to work three days a week from the London offices.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Business Manager, Delivery Manager, Programme Office Lead, Chief of Staff or Executive Assistant.
• Experience in a digital, technology or transformation-focused environment.
• Experience supporting leadership teams across multiple locations, cultures or time zones.
• Knowledge of governance, operational reporting, business planning and organisational performance management.
• Awareness of emerging technologies, AI-enabled ways of working and digital transformation.
