Manager - Future of Work and AI Enablement

Location: Leeds, Halifax or Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Hybrid working requires at least two days per week, or 40% of working time, at the office location.

What you will do

• Champion colleague perspectives in the introduction and scaling of AI across the Group.
• Build and deliver approaches that support changing roles, work, and ways of working in an AI-enabled organisation.
• Grow the AI Trailblazers network by identifying advocates, enabling multipliers, and accelerating adoption.
• Engage with industry networks, academics, national champions, and other organisations to bring external insight into the Group.
• Translate external research and insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Support Corporate Affairs, media enquiries, investor questions, the External AI Forum, publications, campaigns, case studies, and the Future of Work mini-series.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in organisational change, colleague engagement, communications, technology adoption, or transformation initiatives.
• At least three years of experience managing relationships with collaborators across teams and organisational levels.
• Ability to gather coworker insights and convert them into actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to explain complex technology, AI, and workforce topics to different audiences.
• Ability to establish emerging priorities, exercise sound judgement, and progress work in an ambiguous or evolving environment.
• Ability to work in a hybrid pattern from the Leeds, Halifax, or Edinburgh office, spending at least two days per week or 40% of time onsite.

• Experience working with external partners, industry bodies, academics, or professional networks.
• Familiarity with AI adoption, the future of work, or technology-related changes to roles and organisations.
• Experience creating thought-leadership content, publications, case studies, campaigns, or materials for external audiences.
