Senior AI Engineer (AI)

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands; on-site five days a week with no remote or hybrid option.

Salary: €80,000–€140,000 gross per year, depending on seniority and experience.

What you will do

• Build and ship production AI and software systems with measurable commercial impact.
• Develop dynamic pricing and margin optimization capabilities across markets.
• Build agentic procurement systems for supplier selection, ordering, and quality management.
• Automate customer journeys from product configuration through post-delivery.
• Develop intelligent content and SEO infrastructure at platform scale.
• Build predictive demand and inventory systems, plus internal tools that increase team output.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building and shipping production AI or software systems used by real users.
• Fluency in LLMs, agentic workflows, and modern AI infrastructure.
• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to connect technical work to revenue or cost impact.
• Ability to work autonomously in an ambiguous environment with limited process.
• Willingness to work on-site in Rotterdam five days a week.
