Onboarding Manager (Digital Assets)

Digital asset infrastructure provider delivering custody, wallets, staking, trading, financing, and settlement services to institutional and retail clients.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end client onboarding, ongoing due diligence, periodic reviews, and offboarding for the Singapore entity.
• Review applications, manage queues and priorities, resolve information gaps, and coordinate escalated cases with Compliance.
• Manage sanctions- and risk-driven terminations, dormant account closures, wind-down activities, and client-facing exit communications.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics.
• Define and improve onboarding workflows, controls, quality assurance practices, service-level frameworks, and reporting metrics.
• Support audits and regulatory examinations, remediate findings, and lead the APAC onboarding function while mentoring an Onboarding Associate.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in client onboarding, KYB/AML operations, financial crime operations, or a related function in fintech, digital assets, or payments.
• Strong knowledge of MAS regulatory requirements covering KYB, corporate structures, beneficial ownership, and AML onboarding.
• Experience supporting external audits or regulatory reviews, evidencing controls, and remediating findings.
• Strong commercial awareness, stakeholder management, communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage complex escalations, make sound decisions under ambiguity, improve inefficient processes, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with evolving processes and requirements.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of experience leading or owning an onboarding function.
• Mandarin language skills.
