Senior Operational Risk Advisor

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office. Parents of a child up to 4 years old may work 2 days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Identify, assess, measure, monitor, and mitigate operational risks across the Investor Services division.
• Advise management and product division leaders on risk profiles, risk appetite, and control effectiveness.
• Review products, services, operational processes, and workflows to ensure risks are defined and appropriately controlled.
• Promote risk awareness, transparency, escalation, and training initiatives.
• Track corrective action plans and analyze trends, root causes, audit findings, regulatory findings, risk events, and RCSA gaps.
• Use risk management tools including the Firmwide Risk Event Database and Risk and Control Self-Assessment database.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in the funds industry.
• Strong analytical, risk identification, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish are required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently while meeting deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience in risk management or operational activities within Fund Accounting or Alternative Funds.
• Experience with SOC1 controls assurance.
