Regulatory Controls Testing Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work with an expectation of 3 days per week in the Warsaw office

What you will do

• Execute regulatory controls testing according to the approved testing plan and methodology.
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls against regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Prepare testing scopes, sample selections, evidence requests, working papers, findings, and recommendations.
• Manage issues, monitor remediation, perform validation testing, and maintain accurate testing records.
• Prepare testing reports, management information, and thematic analysis for management and governance forums.
• Work with Control Owners and stakeholders to coordinate testing, discuss findings, and clarify evidence requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in Regulatory Compliance, Compliance Assurance, Monitoring & Testing, Risk, Audit, or a similar assurance function.
• Understanding of UK regulatory obligations applicable to financial services firms.
• Strong analytical, investigative, problem-solving, written communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ability to balance attention to detail with a pragmatic, risk-based approach.
• Availability to work in a hybrid format with 3 days per week in the Warsaw office.
