TL;DR
Robotics Architect (Clouds) (Robotics, C++, Python, ROS2): Defining scalable architectures and integration frameworks for intelligent robotic systems across mobile robots, robotic arms, drones, and AMRs with an accent on cloud integration, autonomous systems, and hardware-software co-design. Focus on architecting perception, SLAM, planning, control, multi-robot coordination, and production deployment from prototypes and PoCs through validated systems.
Location: Spain or Italy; remote or office work.

What you will do
- Define and own technical architectures for mobile robots, robotic arms, drones, and autonomous mobile robots.
- Design reusable integration frameworks connecting robotic systems with cloud platforms and enterprise ecosystems.
- Lead delivery from prototypes and proof-of-concepts through production-ready systems.
- Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices across robotics teams.
- Architect perception, SLAM, sensor fusion, localization, mapping, motion planning, control, and multi-robot coordination systems.
- Collaborate with AI, cloud, embedded, product, and client teams through technical workshops, presentations, pre-sales, and delivery.
Requirements
- Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in robotics system architecture and end-to-end solution design.
- Expert proficiency in C++ and/or Python, with production-grade robotics software development experience.
- Strong experience with ROS2 and robotics domains including mobile robots, robotic arms, drones, and autonomous systems.
- Deep knowledge of SLAM, sensor fusion, localization, mapping, motion planning, control systems, real-time computing, and hardware-software co-design.
- Advanced English proficiency is required for daily communication, documentation, and stakeholder interaction.
Nice to have
- Experience with Isaac Sim, Gazebo, or similar simulation environments.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of ARM, STM32, RTOS, PLC, and SCADA ecosystems.
- Experience with multi-robot and multi-vendor integration environments.
- Technical pre-sales, stakeholder presentation, mentoring, and technical leadership experience.
