Project Engineer - Electrical (Modernisations) UK Wide

Location: UK-wide, with a base listed in West Bromwich, United Kingdom; regular travel and occasional overnight stays across the UK are required. Accommodation and subsistence are provided when overnight stays are needed.

What you will do

• Coordinate activities, resources, tasks, costs, and progress reporting for modernisation and installation projects.
• Conduct project tasks independently and support the Project Manager, including taking responsibility during their absence.
• Lead sub-projects under the supervision of the Project Manager.
• Prepare safety documentation, including SSOW, SSA, RAMS, and lift planning documents.
• Coordinate technicians, field supervisors, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Resolve project queries, escalate concerns, and identify improvements to current ways of working.

Requirements

• HNC or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience or involvement in engineering projects.
• Willingness and ability to travel and occasionally stay overnight across the UK.
• Commercial acumen and the ability to work independently and adapt when problems occur.
• IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
