Principle Data Engineer (Clinical Data)

What you will do

• Lead technical consulting engagements involving clinical systems software, platform configuration, reporting programs, and integrations.
• Provide programming support and quality control for system configurations, data extracts, custom reports, and visualizations.
• Design solutions and oversee technical development and implementation across client projects.
• Manage and mentor technical resources delivering client services.
• Define and improve processes for new and existing elluminate modules.
• Collaborate with sales teams on staffing and project delivery, and provide training to internal and external users.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in services or senior consulting roles.
• 8+ years of database design and development experience.
• Strong experience in data warehouse architecture, design, and development.
• Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, R, Python, SAS, or related technologies.
• Experience with multiple database platforms, including Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, and DB2.
• Experience with ETL, data pipelines, data modeling, data analytics, BI, data warehouses, data lakes, reporting tools, and REST APIs.

Nice to have

• Experience leading technical teams.
• Knowledge of clinical trial data standards such as CDISC ODM, SDTM, or ADaM.
• Life sciences, CRO, or regulated clinical trial industry experience.
• Experience with regulatory computer systems validation and EDC systems such as Rave, Trial Master, InForm, or Oracle Clinical.
