Bank GL Team Lead

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop the Bank GL team.
• Set clear priorities, provide regular coaching, follow up on performance, and support team goals.
• Oversee daily bank accounting, bank reconciliations, and issue resolution.
• Ensure month-end reconciliation and closing tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Drive automation, process harmonization, and scalability while maintaining accounting accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure group accounting policies are followed, support audits, prepare regulatory reports, and maintain proper document archiving.

Requirements

• Relevant accounting and team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and accounting processes.
• Good analytical skills.
• Degree in finance; an accounting degree is an advantage.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Additional language skills.
