Process Lead - Certified Accountant for Turkey Legislation - Financial Reporting and Audits - Global Client (Turkey Accounting)

What you will do

• Manage month-end and quarter-end closing, controllership, accounting, and financial reporting for the Turkey market.
• Prepare standalone and consolidated year-end financial statements under IFRS and Turkish Local GAAP.
• Coordinate with auditors, finance teams, local stakeholders, and business teams to resolve audit queries.
• Oversee statutory and tax audits, tax filings, indirect tax reporting, transfer pricing reports, and entity accounting.
• Review P&L and balance sheet reporting, prepare balance sheet schedules, and explain business-reporting variances.
• Support legal-entity liquidation, process improvement, automation initiatives, and open-item management.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant qualification with at least five years of experience in a multinational company with global reporting responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish GAAP and Turkish tax regulations.
• Experience in financial reporting, accounting, audits, book closing, and controllership reporting.
• Working knowledge of SAP and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Turkish and English language skills required.
• Strong communication, stakeholder-management, attention-to-detail, strategic-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in a Big Four or similar large accounting firm.
