Salesforce Developer 1 (Salesforce Energy and Utilities Cloud): Developing, customising, integrating, and supporting an enterprise Salesforce platform with an accent on Apex, Lightning Web Components, OmniStudio, Flows, and secure system integrations. Focus on designing scalable automation, maintaining production readiness, building API and event-driven integrations, and supporting structured CI/CD deployments.
Location: Manchester, United Kingdom; hybrid working from the Manchester office

What you will do
- Design and deliver scalable Salesforce Energy and Utilities Cloud solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, OmniStudio, and Flows.
- Extend the platform across sales, contracts, renewals, brokers, credit, risk, and site management.
- Build and maintain integrations using API endpoints, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, REST/SOAP APIs, and Apex callouts.
- Review technical readiness, maintainability, risks, technical debt, and production readiness of delivered features.
- Support releases, metadata preparation, environment management, and repeatable CI/CD deployment processes.
- Maintain platform quality through code reviews, unit testing, defect resolution, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Flows.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, security frameworks, governor limits, and deployment processes.
- Experience with OmniStudio, including OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures, and with Salesforce Energy and Utilities Cloud.
- Experience building and supporting integrations with Platform Events, Change Data Capture, REST/SOAP APIs, and custom APIs.
- Knowledge of Apex unit testing, code coverage, sandbox management, SFDX, Metadata API, and production support.
- Strong solution design, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
