What you will do

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance microservices using .NET and C#.
• Translate business requirements into clean, maintainable, and secure code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and release cloud-native applications.
• Implement DevSecOps practices, including static code analysis and security scanning.
• Maintain system architecture documentation to ensure long-term maintainability.
• Participate in agile ceremonies to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK and able to commute to Nottingham 2 days per week.
• Hands-on experience with .NET 6+, .NET Core, or .NET Framework.
• Proficiency in building REST/SOAP/RPC APIs within microservice or SOA architectures.
• Proven track record of building secure, high-volume transaction systems in regulated environments.
• Strong experience with unit/integration testing using xUnit or nUnit, TDD, and BDD.
• Familiarity with clean architecture, SOLID principles, and containerization (Docker).

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with Domain Driven Design and Event Driven Architecture.
• Familiarity with Python, Scala, or big data frameworks like Spark.
• Experience using Generative AI tools for coding.
