.NET Engineer (C#)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain cloud-native microservices and web applications for the Ascend Cloud Foundation Platform.
• Translate requirements into clean, scalable, maintainable code with minimal defects.
• Build high-quality software solutions within an agile team and agreed delivery timelines.
• Apply DevSecOps practices throughout the development lifecycle to support code quality and security.
• Create concise documentation for code, processes, and system architecture.

Requirements

• Experience with .NET 6+, .NET Core, or .NET Framework and scalable REST, SOAP, or RPC APIs.
• Proficiency in C# and experience building secure, high-volume web-based systems in regulated environments.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests with xUnit or NUnit, including hands-on TDD and BDD.
• Knowledge of mocking frameworks, clean architecture, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, Docker, source control, and fundamental CI/CD practices.

Nice to have

• Experience using generative AI tools for coding.
• Knowledge of Python, Scala, or big data frameworks such as Spark.
• Experience with domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, and infrastructure as code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
