MES Project Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end MES implementations from requirements gathering through go-live and hypercare support.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and translate business requirements into MES solutions for discrete and process manufacturing.
• Drive MES standardization, template development, best-practice adoption, and continuous process improvement across multiple sites.
• Design and support integrations between MES, ERP, Historian, SCADA, and shop-floor systems, including data flows and interface standards.
• Manage project scope, schedules, risks, issues, quality, and deployment governance while coordinating business, OT, IT, and external implementation teams.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance monitoring, data-quality oversight, and support for cybersecurity and audit requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, automation, engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in MES, Manufacturing IT, industrial automation, or digital manufacturing.
• Experience delivering at least one complete MES implementation from requirements through successful go-live.
• Strong understanding of discrete and/or process manufacturing operations and experience integrating MES with ERP, Historian, SCADA, and shop-floor systems.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, and independent working skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Opcenter, FTPC, or other mainstream MES platforms.
• Familiarity with ISA-95, the Purdue Model, and IT/OT integration principles.
• Working knowledge of Java, JBoss, MS SQL Server, Docker, Nginx, REST APIs, OPC UA, or MQTT.
• Experience with multi-site MES deployments, reporting, analytics, and manufacturing data platforms.
